The Magic of Romance: A Guide to ShearingHome's Different Series

With eleven books officially out there in the reading world, we know a thing or two about romance. Spread across three different series, but one big universe, you might be wondering more about how each of our series ties into each other. Read on to learn about the different series of romance we have crafted to keep you turning page after page.

Perfect Series

Making way for every other series is the Perfect Series, which has its own little three-book trilogy nestled into the five books published thus far. Perfectly Betrayed, Perfectly Targeted, and Perfectly United dive into Jax and Jeni's story and explore all the heartache and anguish the two go through before finally finding their happily ever after.

So, why do they have their own three-book series within a series when no one else gets the same treatment? Trust me, we tried. The story kept flowing, and we had so much to tell about the two lovebirds. Soon, we realized that there was just way too much for a single book. Thus, the trilogy was born. We didn't anticipate the Perfect Series to continue, but as we kept writing and getting to know more and more about our characters, we realized that they deserved their own happily ever after as well.

We do plan on adding more stories to the series. Those projects are on the ShearingHome vision board but are on the back burner for now. But have no fear. They will make their way to our screens soon. Other stories are just being pushy and want to be written first.

Z-Inc Series

This romance series jumps between the past, with Z and Maria, and the present (to Jax and Jeni's timeline), with Zoey and Neva's happily ever afters. We knew, however, that this series would always be a part of the same universe as the Perfect Series because of the role Z played in Jax, Marc, and Vicki's lives. What we didn't anticipate was all the different twists and turns each story took (except Z's twist, D A planned that from the start and tearfully got through it). While Z's series is mostly wrapped up (we think, for now), they still are a major part of the other series, meaning you don't have to say goodbye to them yet. ResQ'd One Series

The most recent ShearingHome series, this series also brings in characters from the others. So, you might wonder why this series is its own, rather than joining one of the other two options out there. Sure, there are many characters that crossover into this one, but there are also so many new characters and elements added in this story that just wouldn't work well with the other series. The Perfect Series is focused more on the medical field, Z is its own thing, and ResQ'd One revolves around covert operations and rescuing people. Sure, the different characters support each other, but the ResQ'd One team definitely deserved its own distinction from the rest of the crew. We are working on the next release for this series, so book four should be hitting the digital shelves within the next couple of months!
