Six Month Recap

We've been hard at work these first six months at 2024! Writing, learning, moving, and exploring, so far 2024 is shaping up to be a fun yet busy year. Keep on reading to learn about some of the amazing things we've accomplished so far this year — all with the help of our amazing readers.

1. Published Four More Books!

While book one of the ResQ'd One Series was already on the digital shelves at the start of 2024, we have since published four more books in the series. While this series has plenty of crossover from other series, you get to meet plenty of new faces with the ResQ'd One crew.

2. ResQ'd One The Wrong Story Reached Top 250 List

Ranking in romance is a feat in and of itself, and our amazing readers have helped our books get to new heights. Here's a breakdown of how some of our books ranked so far this year:

What makes these rankings so amazing is the fact that we are competing against all the other big names out there. Thousands of other traditionally published, indie authors, and small-time publishing house authors have their books in these different categories on Amazon, making our series entering in these lists even more amazing.

3. Rebranded ResQ'd One Series

Our book covers for the ResQ'd One series also got redesigned. We really wanted these covers to give readers an idea of what they're getting into even before cracking open the first page. Which cover is your favorite?

4. Got Our First 1-star Review

Not every reader is going to find their perfect match with a book and are going to rate the book a one-star because it just wasn't their jam. Well...we got our first official one-star review. But, we aren't letting that get us down! In fact, we found it maybe a little humorous because the reviewer refused to read the book on principle because we decided to spell our book title as "ResQ'd" versus "rescued". What are your thoughts on this?

5. Starting Planning a Merch Line!

Yes, you read that right. Here soon, you'll be able to get custom merch from ShearingHome. We are just as excited as you to offer this to our amazing readers. Stay tuned for more updates to come on this development!

Looking Forward to the Next Six Months

The next six months promise to be just as big! Plenty of books are in the works. ResQ'd One is going to get a few more releases. Flight of the Witch is on the last stretch of initial writing.
