2023 Recap — Launch Year

January finished out strong as our best month yet, but you might be wondering how ShearingHome fared for 2023. Firstly, we couldn't do what we do with our amazing readers. It's because of YOU that we are able to do what we do. While 2023 was the start of something big, 2024 is shaping up to be an amazing year. Keep reading for a recap of ShearingHome's launch year.

1. Published NINE books!

Nine out of our 10 books hit the digital shelves in 2023, with even more coming in 2024!

2. Z-Inc Lost and Found Reached #4 in Free Medical Romance

Around the holidays, we ran a free book promotion deal for Z-Inc Lost and Found (Z-Inc Book 1). The results had our jaws dropping. It launched Z-Inc Lost and Found to the Top 4 in Free Medical Romance. But that's not the only chart it hit:

Top 30 in Free Action & Adventure Romance
Top 1,000 in Free Kindle Bookstore (competing against all the other books and genres)

3. Perfectly Betrayed Reached Top 100 in Free Action & Adventure Romance

Joining Z-Inc Lost and Found on the Free Action and & Adventure Romance list was Perfectly Betrayed as it jumped to the top 100 during the holiday season.

4. Created Website and Social Media Platforms

Part of what made 2023 so great was being able to connect with all our readers. Our website launched in September 2023 and shearinghome.com was born. Similarly, we also dove into Facebook and Instagram with the handle ShearingHome and @shearinghome. We have loved all your comments, likes, shares, and engagement.

What Does 2024 Have in Store?

We have several books in the works. 2024 has already been amazing so far! Aside from the book writing realm (which we discussed at the start of the year), we plan to create more fun and engaging content like blog posts and social media posts.
